How to Sell Anything Online is a comprehensive business book about ecommerce and online sales. The author is Anaita Sarkar, founder of Hero Packaging, the biodegradable packaging company. Sarkar starts by covering the foundations of building a small business, from mastering cashflow to staying consistent with your marketing message. The book is then focused on helping the reader navigate the online sales world and does an exceptional job explaining the Google adwords, Facebook advertising and email marketing processes. I must-read for those new to ecommerce in particular.
Why should I read it?
Sarkar has left no virtual stone unturned in this book. If you have or plan to have an ecommerce site this book will be a valuable read. Hero Packaging is quite a business growth success story in it's own right and this book will give the reader insight into how that process was fostered. A very good read.
Is it a challenging read?
It requires attention and time to reflect. There is a lot of marketing advice and strategy in this book and to be distracted will risk missing some of the valuable lessons.
