What is it about?
This is a book focused on the psychology of habit forming behaviour. Most importantly, Clear provides a very easy and relatable method to develop habits that are sustainable. He starts with an examination of what we are trying to achieve and why we want to make the changes. Atomic Habits provides a very different and innovative approach to behaviour. It is no surprise it is a best selling business book.
Why should I read it?
If you have ever decided to start something new, or return to something but find yourself quitting after a short period this is the book for you. Maybe you’ve read another great business book that suggests a new daily routine or perhaps a change to productivity processes. If you try them but go back to your old ways, you need to read James Clear’s book.
Is it a challenging read?
The content is so engaging with such an innovative approach to habit forming you won’t find it hard to read at all. You’ll get into the habit of reading a chapter a day, I’m sure.
