What is it about?
This book takes a deep dive into the business approach and values espoused by serial entrepreneur, Richard Branson. It is written by Branson in the first-person and provides insights into how he grew his businesses and mistakes made along the way. He shares lots of his personal experiences and lessons on business building and this makes it quite an insightful, often inspiring read.
Why should I read it?
It’s a great way to learn from the experience of someone who has had a very long career in business and knows how to keep the doors open. The book provides ideas about innovation, leadership and risk-taking. It also feels like a very honest read and that makes it useful to small business owners who typically value the experience of others in the same situation.
Is it a challenging read?
No because there are lots of personal stories shared. It does require a bit of time though.
