What is is about?
This is a seminal book about work productivity. It has been recommended to me many times and is the foundational book from which many productivity strategies have been developed. It is a simple system and the GTD (Getting Things Done) approach has now been developed into a program recognised worldwide. This is a productivity management system that can be easily applied in any business circumstance.
Why should I read it?
It is a very clear, easy to implement task management system. If you feel overwhelmed with workload, learning the GTD method can ease the anxiety and stress of a full day at work.
Is it a challenging read?
This book is about a complete productivity system. Every step and idea is contained in the pages and that means it may appear a daunting read at first. However, to receive a complete productivity process within 300 pages is a gift. Some of the descriptions of files and folders (for example) might feel a bit antiquated however just adapt them to your current processes and it’s still a timeless (pardon the pun!) strategy.
