Why should I read it?
If you are trying to encourage your team or employees to think more creatively about problems they face at work, you need to buy this book. de Bono does a terrific job explaining the role and value of each hat needed in a meeting/project and it’s a very easy concept to explain to teams once you understand the role of each hat. It is a well-researched approach to innovative and creative group thinking that has stood the test of time.
Is it a challenging read?
I would never all a de Bono text an easy read. It’s dense and detailed. However, it is a very valuable read and one I would recommend for any work leader or supervisor who wants to maximise team based results. Highly recommended.
