I found it a fascinating book about viral marketing and spent time identifying the roles of people in my business world who influence the success of my brands. It looks at how some business ideas seem to take off and others never get the recognition they deserve.
Why should I read it?
It’s a clever and strategic approach to marketing that highlights how to tap into the different roles people play to make your brand or product a success. It’s easy to understand the rules that guide the tipping point and how to work within the framework. For example, when talking about my brand I still think of the roles of a ‘maven’ to help build brand awareness. It’s a very interesting marketing approach to think of when married to the rise of social media platforms.
Is it a challenging read?
If you are looking for help to grow a brand or launch a product this is a very good and easy read. It’s also a fabulous pseudo-psychology book that delves in the reasons people buy products. A great read.
