Work from Wherever is a beautifully designed book with a collection of stories from both Messenger and contributors who discuss how to become a mobile keyboard warrior. It’s a book that argues the importance of workplace flexibility and the chapters describe how to achieve that on a daily basis. It was first published in 2019 so it was slightly ahead of its time given extended lockdowns ultimately forced most of the workforce to work away from their office.
Why should I read it?
If you seek more flexibility in how or where you work this is a good guide. It has lots of tips and ideas about how to be mobile and still be working. It addresses the importance of work-life balance, working remotely as part of a team and how to establish work systems remotely.
Is it a challenging read?
This is an easy book to read written in a conversational style with lots of inspirational stories.
